Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospective students considering enrolling at Rasmussen University.
  • Engage prospective students via telephone, email, click to chat, and text messaging about their future with the goal of enrollment.
  • Conduct conversations with prospective students to assess needs and showcase the benefits of a Rasmussen University education.
  • Manage and update student database, application paperwork, and follow-up documentation.
  • Build relationships with local high schools, businesses, and community members to create growth opportunities.
  • Work effectively with co-workers as part of the student services team to ensure a professional and productive experience for each student.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required; bachelor's strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years prior sales/consultative selling experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding metrics preferred.
  • Self-driven and comfortable making multiple outbound calls per day to generate interest and drive the enrollment process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong phone presence.
  • Ability to work under limited direct day-to-day management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge in Salesforce is a plus.
  • Demonstrates ability to leverage internal relationships with other departments.
