The Admissions Advisor role is a vital position within a growing healthcare educator organization, serving as the first point of contact for prospective students. The advisor is responsible for establishing trusting relationships, guiding students through the admissions process, and tailoring information to meet their educational and career goals. This position offers flexible scheduling options and the potential for career progression and pay increases.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to prospective students via phone; take incoming calls and place outbound calls in a call center fashion.
• Interview prospective students to determine their motivation for attending college.
• Understand career goals and identify the degree program that best matches their needs.
• Present information about the benefits of education at the University, tailoring their message to students' needs, motivation, and career goals.
• Guide prospective students through the admissions process, respond to questions, link them to financial aid and academic advisors, gather the documents necessary to start school, and ensure students complete admissions testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
• Comfortable with MS Office.
• Able to quickly learn new computer systems and databases.
• Craft well-written, compelling messages to students and colleagues.
• Work in a team and goal-oriented environment.
• A passion for higher education and the desire to help prospective students reach their goals.
