About the position
The Admissions Advisor at MyComputerCareer Inc. plays a crucial role in guiding potential students towards achieving career success through quality education and technical certifications. This position involves motivating individuals, qualifying candidates, presenting educational programs, and assisting with the enrollment process, including financial aid support.
Responsibilities
- Sell the value of MyComputerCareer to prospective students through consultations and PowerPoint presentations.
- Perform daily follow-up calls to help students progress towards enrollment.
- Assist students in obtaining required documentation for enrollment, including high school and college transcripts, and identification.
- Help students secure funding through private lenders.
- Guide students through all required documentation to become enrolled students.
- Set expectations for new students regarding their responsibilities and academic standards.
- Participate in or conduct student recruitment programs with faculty and staff.
- Ensure new students complete the onboarding process, including New Student Interviews and attendance on the first day of labs.
- Contribute to retention efforts and participate in 'save the student' meetings.
- Make a minimum of 50 dials or follow-up calls daily.
- Maintain a customer-facing role with the camera on during consultations.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated significant high-performing sales experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
