The Admissions Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Admissions/Marketing Director in the admissions process for residents and patients. This part-time position involves preparing admission packets, entering resident information, scheduling admissions, and ensuring compliance with necessary paperwork. The role requires effective communication with residents and their families, as well as coordination with internal departments to facilitate a smooth entry process for new residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Admissions/Marketing Director in the admissions process for all residents/patients.
  • Prepare admission packets and paperwork.
  • Enter resident information into the system.
  • Schedule admissions with internal departments.
  • Ensure all residents have the proper and compliant paperwork completed.
  • Provide informational materials to residents and their families.
  • Maintain knowledge of facility rates, procedures, privileges, and restrictions.
  • Document all departmental processes for a consistent admissions process.
  • Coordinate and prepare all required paperwork, ensuring it is up to date with guidance and regulations.
  • Gather, review, and file pre-admission related paperwork.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office.
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Ability to commute to Pacifica, CA 94044.
  • Ability to relocate to Pacifica, CA 94044 before starting work.
