About the position
The Admissions Associate/Recruiter at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is responsible for providing excellent customer service to prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process, and promoting the college's programs. This full-time position involves interacting with the public, assisting with college events, and traveling within a six-county area to inform the community about available programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to greet visitors and assist with tours.
- Guide prospective students about admissions and registration processes.
- Perform daily Admissions and Banner processes alongside other Student Services staff.
- Assist with new student orientation, graduation, and student recognition programs.
- Travel within a six-county area to promote TCAT Crump's programs.
- Distribute promotional materials and manage display booths at events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical diploma preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organization, reporting, and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
