The Admissions Event Planner is responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of events and recruitment programs that engage college counselors and support the Admissions Office's recruitment functions. This role involves managing the logistics of both on-campus and off-campus events aimed at enhancing student recruitment efforts, as well as organizing programs specifically for Vermont counselors. The Program Specialist will serve as the primary contact for Vermont counselors, collaborating closely with territory managers to ensure effective communication and coordination. Additionally, the position entails managing the Green and Gold nomination process, which is integral to recognizing outstanding contributions within the recruitment framework. In this role, the Admissions Event Planner will also handle incoming inquiries to the Undergraduate Admissions Office, providing essential administrative support. This includes answering phone calls, addressing questions from prospective students and their families, and performing various other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the Admissions Office. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various constituents across the campus and with external partners, including hotels, airlines, and local businesses, to ensure the smooth execution of events and programs.
