About the position
The Admissions Liaison at Encompass Health plays a crucial role in coordinating a compassionate and efficient admission process for patients. This position involves overseeing referrals, validating information, and facilitating scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients, ensuring a streamlined experience that aligns with the company's commitment to quality care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate an efficient admissions process for all patients.
- Perform pre-certifications.
- Assemble Admissions consent packets.
- Maintain an accurate listing of all patients in the hospital.
- Receive and verify referrals, gather essential information, and execute necessary procedures for scheduling and admission.
- Contribute to the referral process and input statistical data into hospital systems.
Requirements
- One or more years in hospital admissions procedures, preferred.
- Licensure as a clinician required.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- CRRN preferred.
- A strong understanding of multidisciplinary care levels and at least one year of clinical experience are advantageous.
