About the position

The Admissions Liaison at Broadway Rehabilitation and Care Center is responsible for developing and implementing external sales strategies to achieve facility census goals. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, providing information about the facility's services, and converting referrals into admissions. The Admissions Liaison will work closely with the Admissions Director to track progress and adjust strategies as needed, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, and implement an individual external sales strategy to achieve facility census goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, and senior centers.
  • Provide information about the facility's services and offerings to potential referral partners.
  • Identify new referral opportunities and develop sales strategies to build relationships.
  • Submit a monthly calendar of events and activities to the supervisor.
  • Provide weekly documentation of the execution of the monthly calendar to the supervisor.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that converts referrals to admissions.
  • Schedule routine events with identified referral partners and report results to the Admissions Director.
  • Maintain an updated listing of referral partners and track personal close ratios.
  • Utilize a customer retention management system to manage accounts and contact information.
  • Conduct presentations of services to health providers and community groups.
  • Monitor and self-evaluate outcomes of sales efforts and communicate recommendations to the Admissions Director.
  • Accept direction from the Admissions Director regarding changes to planned activities and strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of the facility's support services and insurance options.
  • Consult with internal support team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be an LVN or RN with a valid license.
  • Experience in long-term care (LTC) sales or admissions is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
