About the position

The Admissions Marketing Coordinator at Riverside PostAcute Care is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the facility's public relations and marketing programs. This role is crucial for maintaining and increasing the facility's census while providing the community with essential information about the facility, its programs, services, and practices. The coordinator will follow established policies and procedures that govern the release of information concerning residents, employees, and the facility, ensuring compliance with current Privacy Rules and Regulations. In collaboration with department directors, the Admissions Marketing Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of marketing and public relations policies and procedures. Establishing rapport among departments is vital, as it allows each staff member to understand their role in the marketing and public relations efforts. The coordinator will ensure that all public information, including policy manuals, brochures, and information packets, is accurate and fully descriptive of the services provided by the facility. Additionally, the coordinator will work closely with the Administrator to develop and implement long-range plans for the facility's marketing and public relations programs. This includes supporting and promoting the philosophy, goals, and objectives of these programs and standardizing the methods for their development and implementation. The role also involves organizing tours of the facility, maintaining a supply of brochures and printed materials, assisting with promotions and publications, and developing a current file of media contacts. The Admissions Marketing Coordinator will make written and oral reports and recommendations to the Administrator regarding the facility's marketing and public relations activities, while also ensuring the confidentiality of residents' protected health information.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a current file of media contacts.
  • Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the Administrator regarding marketing and public relations programs and activities.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the facility's admission requirements, services, and programs.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in marketing or public relations.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
