About the position

The Admissions / Marketing Coordinator at Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Cahaba River plays a crucial role in the healthcare marketing and admissions process. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about utilizing their sales and marketing skills within the healthcare sector, particularly in assisting elderly populations and their families in finding the best care options available. The coordinator will be responsible for generating and maintaining a positive facility census in alignment with the facility's budgetary goals. This involves creating and implementing an effective and measurable marketing plan that engages key facility management personnel and acts as a liaison between the facility, Care Transition Coordinator, and the referral community. In this role, the Admissions / Marketing Coordinator will monitor daily census results and make necessary adjustments to marketing plans to ensure targets are met. They will also manage the referral approval process in accordance with the Company Commit to Care guidelines and protocols. Additionally, the coordinator will oversee the entire admission process, providing assistance to families with any administrative questions they may have. This position requires a proactive approach to anticipating the needs of various stakeholders, including discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and facility staff, ensuring that all parties are well-informed and supported throughout the admissions process.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain a positive facility census based on budgetary goals.
  • Create and implement an effective and measurable marketing plan.
  • Act as a liaison between the facility, Care Transition Coordinator, and the referral community.
  • Monitor daily census results and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
  • Manage the referral approval process according to Company Commit to Care guidelines.
  • Coordinate the entire admission process and assist families with administrative questions.

Requirements

  • 2 years of successful admission process experience preferred.
  • 4-year degree is preferred; a 2-year degree in marketing, healthcare, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate the needs of discharge planners, case managers, physicians, and other referral contacts.
  • Exceptional customer service and public relations skills.
  • Ability to speak and present to the public effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently toward goals.
  • Ability to travel within a sixty (60) mile radius of the facility.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
