About the position

Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Admissions/Marketing Coordinator to join our team! This role is crucial in ensuring that our facility is well-represented in the community and that prospective residents and their families receive the best possible information and support during the admissions process. The Admissions/Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for conducting tours of the facility for prospective residents, families, and referral sources, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of our services and environment. This position requires a proactive approach to coordinate and process admissions documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies. In addition to managing the admissions process, the coordinator will facilitate a smooth transition for new residents by collaborating with nursing, social services, and other relevant departments. This collaboration is essential to ensure that new residents feel welcomed and supported as they move into our facility. The role also involves developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the facility's services. This includes utilizing digital marketing, print advertising, community events, and social media campaigns to reach a wider audience and attract potential residents. Building and maintaining relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers is another key responsibility. The Admissions/Marketing Coordinator will attend networking events, health fairs, and other community activities to promote the facility and its services. Additionally, the coordinator will create marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and presentations, in collaboration with the marketing team or external agencies. This position is vital for enhancing the visibility of our facility and ensuring that we meet the needs of our community effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly skilled nursing and long-term care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
