About the position

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the student application process, ensuring that applications are complete and ready for evaluation, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves evaluating student applications, communicating with prospective students, and determining transfer credits, all while adhering to admissions requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process student applications, reviewing application packets for completeness and readiness for evaluation.
  • Maintain student application and other files and records, preparing them for evaluation.
  • Evaluate student standardized test scores and calculate GPA to determine compliance with admissions requirements.
  • Evaluate student transcripts to determine transfer credit.
  • Communicate with students in person, by email, and by telephone to advise on admission status and provide information and assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related work experience.
