About the position

The Admissions Operations Specialist at Villanova University plays a crucial role in supporting the Law School's admission application and recruiting process. This position focuses on maintaining data integrity, improving operational processes, and providing high-quality customer service to prospective students, applicants, and admitted students. The specialist will handle various administrative tasks, coordinate tours and interviews, and assist in marketing communication campaigns, all while working closely with the Admissions team to streamline operations and enhance the student experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review admission application credentials for data integrity and prepare applications for review.
  • Maintain processes for web-based data exchange and data entry via Unite.
  • Develop and implement processes for assessing applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Correspond with applicants regarding their application status via various communication channels.
  • Assist in the development and management of communications campaigns using the Unite CRM platform.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions operations information using Unite CRM and Banner.
  • Coordinate on-campus admissions and recruitment events, including tours and interviews for prospective students.
  • Generate ad hoc reports from the Unite CRM to support recruitment and enrollment strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years experience in admissions or 2-3 years related experience in an educational or customer service environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly motivated team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse constituencies and communicate effectively with sensitive constituents.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the graduate admissions process.
  • Working knowledge of Banner and Unite CRM or similar admissions database.
