About the position

The Admissions Recruiter at Nashville Film Institute (NFI) plays a crucial role in representing the school to the community and driving student enrollment. This position involves developing and maintaining relationships with local high schools and educational organizations, engaging prospective students at community events, and coordinating recruitment efforts to generate leads and interest in NFI's programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local high schools and educational organizations.
• Seek out career fair opportunities and inform the Campus Director of relevant events.
• Plan and coordinate recruitment events such as Open Houses.
• Visit high schools, adult learning centers, and other locations to engage with prospective students.
• Distribute promotional materials to local businesses targeting potential students.
• Collaborate with Admissions Representatives to ensure a smooth handoff of leads.
• Verify the legitimacy of leads with Admissions Representatives.
• Make calls to existing leads, including evening and Sunday calls, to maintain engagement.
• Develop and implement strategies for generating leads, aiming for a minimum of 50 legitimate leads per month.
• Complete weekly recruitment reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in recruiting, particularly within an academic or educational environment.
• Strong public speaking skills to educate diverse audiences about recruitment processes.
• Experience working with students or recent graduates is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills focused on building relationships and networking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
