About the position

The Admissions Representative/Registrar position at Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a per diem role focused on registering patients for treatment. Responsibilities

• Collect patient financial responsibility at the time of service.
• Ensure accurate and timely registration of emergency and outpatient patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, medical personnel, co-workers, and insurance representatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years' experience in a hospital or related medical field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively and communicate information clearly.
• Knowledge of office procedures, medical terminology, and insurance requirements.
