As an Admissions Representative at Unitek Learning, you will play a crucial role in recruiting qualified students for the college's academic programs. This hybrid position allows for a combination of on-campus and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring that you can effectively engage with potential students. Under direct supervision, your primary responsibility will be to provide essential information and guidance to prospective students regarding the enrollment process and the various academic programs offered by the college. You will be tasked with evaluating and resolving student inquiries and issues, ensuring that all actions taken are satisfactory to the students, the college, and relevant regulatory agencies. Upholding enrollment standards is paramount, and you will be expected to comply with governmental regulations and accreditation standards, enrolling only those students who meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in the college's catalog. In this role, you will demonstrate a positive attitude and motivation, showing genuine concern for students while working collaboratively with your team. Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic are essential, as you will need to follow through on commitments to both students and the organization. You will utilize company-approved admissions materials during telephone calls, interviews, and throughout the enrollment process, exercising sound judgment within defined procedures to determine the appropriate course of action. Your responsibilities will also include building relationships with potential students by taking inquiry calls, returning web inquiries promptly, and making outbound calls to those who have expressed interest in attending the institution. Participation in organized phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns is a key component of this role, as is the ability to generate new business when not responding to outstanding inquiries. You will schedule and conduct student interviews, ensuring compliance with company policies regarding financial aid discussions, and work to match the college's offerings with the students' needs and aspirations. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor and guide, helping students identify their unique skills and interests while addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. Administrative duties will also be part of your role, including accurately accounting for all inquiries and admissions activities, completing daily activity reports, and ensuring that all pre-start paperwork is completed in a timely manner. You will be expected to keep all required reports current and accurate, attend training sessions as required, and perform other duties as assigned by local leaders. This position offers a competitive pay range, with the potential for higher compensation based on relevant experience in admissions within for-profit educational institutions.
