About the position

The Admissions Representative plays a crucial role in recruiting qualified students for the college's academic programs. This hybrid position involves both on-campus and remote work, focusing on providing guidance and assistance to potential students throughout the enrollment process. The representative must uphold enrollment standards and comply with governmental regulations while demonstrating a positive attitude and strong commitment to student success.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit qualified students for the college's academic programs in a compliant and professional manner.
  • Provide basic information and routine guidance to potential students regarding enrollment and the admissions process.
  • Evaluate and resolve student inquiries and issues, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
  • Uphold enrollment standards by complying with governmental regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Take inquiry calls from potential students and encourage them to schedule interviews.
  • Return web inquiries and calls promptly, providing accurate information about programs.
  • Make outbound calls to potential students expressing interest in attending the institution.
  • Participate in organized phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns as part of daily activities.
  • Follow up on inquiries that fail to schedule or show for interviews.
  • Schedule and conduct student interviews, ensuring compliance with company policies regarding Financial Aid.
  • Utilize approved company materials during the interview process and explain program offerings to potential students.
  • Mentor and advise students on available programs and eligibility requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and campus, assisting with enrollment forms and documentation.
  • Accurately account for all inquiries and admissions activity, completing daily activity reports.
  • Attend and complete all required training for the position.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience, preferably in admissions.
  • Candidates with consultative sales or recruiting experience are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to fulfill company key behaviors.
  • Associates Degree or above is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job.
