About the position

The Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting qualified applicants and enrolling students at Heavy Equipment Colleges of America. This role involves conducting high-quality discussions with prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process while adhering to ethical standards and institutional policies. The representative will manage inquiries, conduct interviews, and participate in recruitment activities to ensure successful student enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety within the assigned territory.
• Adhere to a proven recruitment process.
• Manage inquiries to achieve prompt contact and performance activity.
• Secure new inquiries through referrals and personal contacts.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with prospective students.
• Determine appropriateness of candidates for admission based on career goals.
• Conduct all activities in accordance with ethical standards.
• Accurately portray college programs, outcomes, and financial considerations to students.
• Forecast projected new students for management.
• Conduct follow-ups with applicants to ensure successful matriculation.
• Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities such as open houses and job fairs.
• Assist other personnel and departments as requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years related experience in admissions, recruiting, or sales preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with faculty, staff, and students.
• Superior organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and industry-related software for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve campus goals.
• Ability to listen and respond positively to requests.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
