About the position

The ADMS Architect position at Capgemini involves designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced distribution management systems (ADMS) to improve the efficiency and reliability of electrical grid operations. The role requires extensive experience with GE ADMS 3.12 and OMS/DMS, focusing on system architecture, integration with existing systems, and providing technical leadership to project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the architecture for ADMS solutions, ensuring integration with existing OMS/DMS systems.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of GE ADMS 3.12, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring best practices in system design and implementation.
  • Oversee the integration of ADMS with other utility systems, including SCADA, GIS, and ERP.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure the ADMS meets their needs.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on ADMS functionalities and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ADMS, with specific experience in GE ADMS 3.12 and OMS/DMS.
  • Proficiency in GE ADMS 3.12, OMS, and DMS.
  • Strong understanding of electrical grid operations and distribution management.
  • Experience with system integration and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with other utility systems such as SCADA, GIS, and ERP is a Plus.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies is a Plus.
