About the position

The Adobe Campaign Specialist position is a contract role based in San Jose, California, with a focus on utilizing Adobe Campaign Classic and/or Adobe Campaign Standard to facilitate the delivery of both digital and non-digital marketing information that drives business objectives for clients. This role is essential in ensuring that marketing campaigns are executed efficiently and effectively, requiring a blend of marketing knowledge and technical expertise in campaign management software. The position is expected to last for a minimum of three months, with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee based on performance and business needs. In this role, the Adobe Campaign Specialist will be responsible for collecting requirements and coordinating tasks related to campaign workflow development, proofing, and execution. The specialist will interface directly with client teams, managing requests and communicating status updates. A deep understanding of the campaign management process is crucial, including the ability to customize and optimize workflows, manage the campaign process in compliance with Service Level Agreements, and track campaign results. The specialist will also be involved in obtaining client signoff on campaign specifications and participating in daily client meetings to provide updates on progress. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can balance changing workloads and work on multiple teams concurrently. The Adobe Campaign Specialist will also document processes and train other team members in campaign orchestration duties, ensuring that knowledge is shared and maintained within the team. This role is ideal for someone who is smart, curious, and passionate about marketing technology, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting requirements and coordinating tasks and activities associated with campaign workflow development, proofing and execution
  • Interface directly with client teams, address and manage client requests and communicate status
  • Understand, customize and optimize the entire campaign management process, to include new campaign requirements, development test, production execution and quality control
  • Manage the campaign process in compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements
  • Plan, coordinate and manage campaign tasks with the database team and communicate status
  • Capable of completing Adobe campaign activities individually
  • Track and monitor campaign results, resolve issues and report status to the Account Management team
  • Obtain client signoff on campaign specification
  • Participate in daily client meetings to update teams on progress and stay on top of programs
  • Document and train other team members to perform campaign orchestration duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with Adobe Campaign Classic - Workflow activities, Delivery activities, Technical workflows, User and Role Administration
  • Basic understanding of set logic required
  • Detail-oriented and organized - able to balance changing workloads
  • Ability to work on multiple teams concurrently
  • Excellent verbal communication and comprehension skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Experience with CRM: Digital and Direct Marketing Campaign Management and Orchestration
  • Experience with Digital Campaign Management tools: (Adobe preferred, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys)
  • Experience with Work Queue management software (Team Track, Jira, Workfront etc.)
  • Experience with file management tools (PGP, Text Editors, CuteFTP, FileZilla, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and SQL for data analysis
  • Experience in client-facing communication and interaction
