About the position

The Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Management Librarian at Novo Nordisk is responsible for managing internal company assets and overseeing digital asset management processes. This includes taxonomy, indexing, cataloging, archiving, and metadata tagging within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM. The role is crucial for ensuring that digital assets are properly labeled, categorized, and stored, facilitating easy access and utilization across various departments. The position requires collaboration with multiple internal functions and external vendors to maintain brand consistency and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal company assets and overall digital asset management in AEM DAM.
  • Drive metadata and taxonomy strategies to align with business needs.
  • Develop and oversee content procedure workflows for asset management.
  • Maintain metadata of shared terms with definitions and rationale.
  • Oversee application of keywords, controlled vocabulary, and categories to improve asset accessibility.
  • Monitor and audit assets to adhere to governance standards.
  • Generate taxonomy/metadata reports for business content owners.
  • Provide training on best practices for content import and metadata application.
  • Coordinate and manage planned enhancements and user group priorities.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure asset accessibility and utilization.
  • Monitor the DAM system for up-to-date and accurate assets.
  • Manage access and use of digital assets to ensure compliance and copyrights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Digital Asset Management for large enterprises.
  • AEM Assets Developer Professional or AEM Business Practitioner certification preferred.
  • Understanding of AEM Workflow capabilities and Metadata Models.
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront in a contributor or administrator capacity.
  • Knowledge of metadata schema development and taxonomy for assets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and analytical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of standard and emerging technologies and platforms.
  • Experience with high-volume file transmissions and establishing naming conventions.
  • Ability to interface with various departments and knowledge levels.
