About the position

As an Adobe Java Developer (AEM) at PGIM Innovation, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing AEM-based solutions that enhance digital consumer experiences across various business units. This position requires a deep understanding of Adobe's AEM product suite and the ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals. You will be responsible for designing and architecting AEM solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. Your expertise will be essential in creating and customizing AEM components, dialogs, widgets, templates, and workflows tailored to specific project needs. In this role, you will also develop reusable AEM components and integrate them with third-party systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our digital platforms. With over 10 years of experience in AEM and a strong background in web technologies such as JSP, JavaScript, XML, and AJAX, you will be expected to lead end-to-end implementations of AEM solutions, including AEM as a cloud service. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be vital as you work within a hybrid work structure, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration to achieve project goals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement AEM-based solutions ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Design and architect AEM solutions based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Create and customize AEM components, dialogs, widgets, templates, and workflows to meet specific project requirements.
  • Develop reusable AEM components and integrate with third-party systems.
  • Perform Adobe Product Administrative tasks including infrastructure setup, performance optimization, and security.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in AEM development.
  • Hands-on experience programming in web technologies like JSP, JavaScript, XML, XPATH, AJAX, JQuery, Adobe APIs, Apache Sling, OSGi bundles, Apache Web Server.
  • Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, and HTL/Sightly skills.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
  • Experience in end-to-end implementations of AEM or AEM as a cloud service.
  • 5+ years of experience architecting and implementing Adobe solutions.
  • Solid understanding of UX and web components.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM).

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of various client-side, server-side, and database performance optimizations.
  • Experience with code management, code quality, and continuous integration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube.
  • Exposure to Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, and AEP.
  • Other CMS experiences.
  • Experience with Search.
