About the position

The Adoption Caseworker is responsible for providing direct client care in the adoption process, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to facilitate successful adoptions. This part-time role involves working closely with clients, children, and various stakeholders to support families through the adoption journey.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of prospective adoptive families.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients throughout the adoption process.
  • Coordinate with social services and other agencies involved in the adoption.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate case records and documentation.
  • Facilitate training and workshops for adoptive families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience in case management or social services, particularly in adoption or child welfare.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
