About the position

This position at Bank of America is focused on the design and implementation of tools and services within a technical domain to support business strategies. The role emphasizes creating infrastructure tools, integrating them as services, and facilitating the deployment of technical solutions through templates, playbooks, and automation. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency and innovation in tool/service implementation and maintenance, while providing technical leadership in Application Delivery Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and delivery strategy for Application Delivery Services to align business requirements with technical solutions.
• Translate and align business requirements for the delivery of ADS services in collaboration with lines of business.
• Analyze and understand existing and emerging business requirements, interfacing with technology engagement teams as a proficient traffic management solutions engineer.
• Deliver best-in-class application load balancing solutions that meet business and technology requirements.
• Manage multiple technical project engagements, demonstrating the ability to work independently and as a team player under multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Exhibit strong collaboration, written, and communication skills while interacting with management, clients, and technical team members.
• Develop and optimize F5 rules.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure engineering with F5 Networks products (LTM/GTM/ASM/AFM/SSLO).
• 3+ years of experience in developing, optimizing, integrating/testing, and troubleshooting complex F5 rules.
• 3+ years of experience with VMWare/Avi Networks.
• 5+ years of experience with DNS and Load Balancing products and services.
• 3+ years of experience with F5 DNS Express.
• 3+ years of Inventory Management experience.
• Experience with other equivalent Application Delivery Controllers such as Avi Networks and Citrix.
• Strong understanding of general network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP networking, SSL, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancing).
• Deep knowledge of diverse networking devices like Routing, Switching, Firewalls, and WAF.
• Experience with F5 TMSH and knowledge of routing solutions such as BGP setup for Anycast based Infrastructure Services.

Nice-to-haves

• Linux OS experience.
• Experience with VMWare, Azure, Terraform/Cloud formation.
• Understanding of Cloud services and Software Defined Networking (SDN).
• Deep understanding of diverse networked applications and terms requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, NAT, WAF, Firewalls, Routing, Switching, etc.
• Programming experience with Python.
