About the position

The ADT Install Technician is responsible for the installation and servicing of home security systems in Eastern Idaho. This role requires a technician to have prior experience in security system installation and troubleshooting, particularly in residential and commercial settings. The technician will work independently, managing their own inventory and ensuring high-quality service delivery while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install and service home security systems including CCTV, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and wireless keypads.
• Program security systems such as Brivo, CCTV, IP Cameras, and Fire alarm systems.
• Maintain inventory with a target accuracy of 98% or better, collecting inventory weekly from the Boise office.
• Drive to job sites using personal vehicle, ensuring it can accommodate a 6 ft ladder and necessary inventory.
• Work independently with limited direction, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home security installation or troubleshooting.
• Experience with installing and servicing security monitoring systems in commercial settings.
• Mechanical aptitude and adaptive personality.
• Ability to work efficiently and lead with quality.
