About the position

The Adult Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple congregate meal sites for the elderly in the Homestead area. This role involves managing personnel, ensuring compliance with program requirements, and providing customer care. The manager will also be responsible for generating reports and maintaining client files, as well as addressing inquiries and complaints related to program services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of seven congregate meal sites in the Homestead area and assist with sixteen sites when needed.
  • Review and reassess clients' eligibility for programs.
  • Provide customer care and support as needed.
  • Input information into computer systems accurately and timely.
  • Generate monthly reports on the functioning of the senior centers.
  • Ensure client referrals and case files meet program and funding source requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate and complete client files.
  • Respond to inquiries, correspondence, and complaints from staff and clients regarding program services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Health Management, or a related field.
  • One year of experience in programs for the elderly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional experience in programs for the elderly may substitute for the required college education on a year-for-year basis.
