About the position

The Adult Foster Care & Group Adult Foster Care Program Senior Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the contractual functions of the Office of Long Term Services and Supports (OLTSS) Third Party Administrator (TPA) related to provider enrollment, credentialing, claims operations, and program integrity for the Adult Foster Care (AFC) and Group Adult Foster Care (GAFC) programs. This role involves monitoring daily operations, assisting in program regulation development, ensuring provider compliance, and leading key implementation components for various initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day operations of the OLTSS TPA functions related to AFC/GAFC programs.
  • Assist the AFC/GAFC senior manager during program regulation and rate regulation development.
  • Ensure provider compliance with applicable program rules and regulations.
  • Assist with reviewing and following up on AFC/GAFC critical incident reports.
  • Coordinate oversight of AFC/GAFC provider accreditation and fiscal soundness requirements.
  • Lead implementation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) in GAFC.
  • Track and monitor multiple projects and recommend changes in policy and program structure.
  • Communicate project statuses and risks to OLTSS and MassHealth leadership.
  • Utilize and support project management tools and plans.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new program staff.
  • Conduct onsite visits with providers for audits and education visits.
  • Maintain databases for program and audit activities.
  • Collaborate on TPA program integrity responsibilities and serve as the program integrity specialist.
  • Engage with stakeholders on program and policy changes.

  • Knowledge of the Massachusetts health care industry and market dynamics.
  • Experience in program and/or provider audits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
