About the position

The Master's-Level Clinician in Outpatient Services at Behavioral Health Network is responsible for providing direct mental health and substance abuse treatment to clients across various settings. This role emphasizes evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training, aiming to improve the functioning and relationships of individuals in the community. Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients across the lifespan through evidence-based psychotherapy and social-emotional skills training.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team and other service providers as needed.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and supervision to discuss cases and treatment progress.
• Measure client progress toward set outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy (required prior to start date).
• Independent Licensure OR License-Eligible and working toward Independent Licensure (required).
• Massachusetts CANS certification (required prior to start date).
• Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and/or adults (required).
• Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment techniques (required).
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR), internet, word processing, and email systems (required).

Nice-to-haves

• Internship or professional experience in an Outpatient setting (preferred).
• Availability to provide services on some evenings and/or weekends (preferred).
