About the position

The Advanced AI Research Scientist Associate Manager at Accenture is responsible for leading a team to develop and implement innovative AI and machine learning solutions, particularly in generative AI and large language models (LLMs). This role involves formulating real-world problems into scalable AI solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and justifying the value of AI methodologies in business contexts. The position requires a deep understanding of AI technologies and the ability to manage technical teams while driving innovation in AI applications.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in discussions to gather business use case requirements and provide AI expertise.
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML models, especially LLM and other Gen AI models.
  • Create sophisticated Gen AI applications that support multiple models for complex tasks.
  • Lead technical teams and foster AI expertise within the broader team, including offshore resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements for AI solutions.
  • Develop and execute project plans for AI solutions, including timelines and infrastructure dependencies.
  • Define and implement a value justification approach for AI solutions, estimating costs and calculating ROI.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with academic partners to stay updated on AI trends and innovations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and developing neural network models, especially deep learning models.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in building and fine-tuning Foundation models including LLMs and multi-modal models.
  • Minimum of 4 years of strong working knowledge of technologies in the Generative AI space.
  • Minimum of 4 years of familiarity with LLM-driven application architecture patterns.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in deep learning and neural networks, particularly with popular libraries and GPUs.
  • Minimum of 4 years of working knowledge of computer architecture and GPU fundamentals.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience with processor and system-level performance modeling.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical team management or mentoring.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
