About the position

The position at Greene, Tweed involves leading strategic sales initiatives to drive growth in underserved and emerging markets. The individual will be responsible for executing the strategic growth plan and ensuring successful communication and execution across global industry segments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and articulate strategic plans for industry sales teams targeting growth initiatives.
  • Build strategic relationships at targeted accounts to develop growth opportunities.
  • Provide leadership with industry-influencing accounts and ensure execution at these accounts.
  • Uncover market and customer pain points and translate them into product needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations to address customer challenges.
  • Expand Greene, Tweed's portfolio and industry knowledge to grow targeted segments.
  • Communicate the strategic growth plan to ensure successful execution globally.
  • Identify and grow opportunities globally and collaborate with sales teams for growth attainment.
  • Develop initiative focus areas tied to business development and ensure their success.
  • Engage in key industry committees and marketing events to build the Greene, Tweed brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; Master's degree desired.
  • 10 years of related consultative sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build strategic relationships.
  • Relevant industry and product portfolio experience required.
  • Technical knowledge and ability to present complex products to decision-makers.
  • Deep industry knowledge aligned with business development focus.
  • Proven track record of hitting revenue targets and developing new accounts.
  • Results- and process-driven mindset for building opportunity funnels.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, active listening, and communication skills.
