About The Position

As an Advanced Application Engineer at 3M, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead application replication projects that have significant impact potential. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams to implement project scopes, support product localization, and engage with customers to capture their needs and market trends. You will also contribute to the development of intellectual property and present value propositions for reflective sheeting products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• One year of experience providing technical sales support in a relevant environment.
• Current, valid Driver's License.

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as Graphics Art, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong intrapersonal skills for effective communication at all organizational levels.
• Experience with reflective sheeting or traffic safety products and equipment.
• Ability to work with and install flexible reflective sheeting to traffic cones and devices.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with statistical software.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead new application replication projects with significant impact potential.
• Implement project scope, expectations, and requirements to suggest future directions based on results.
• Determine technical skills to support internal and external customers through product localization and technology development.
• Support the development of intellectual property processes, including Invention Submissions and patents.
• Engage directly with customers to capture voice of customer (VOC) and study market trends.
• Collaborate with industry experts and regulatory bodies, and train customers and sales representatives.
• Identify and present the value proposition of reflective sheeting market of CBTD products.
