About the position

The Advanced Database Analyst/Programmer at SOS International LLC (SOSi) is responsible for leading and participating in the development and maintenance of Cyber and Information Assurance (IA) database systems. This role involves providing database development resources to the team, reviewing technical solutions for various projects, and utilizing a range of database management systems and programming languages. The position requires a strong background in database technologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the development and maintenance of Cyber and IA database systems.
• Provide database development resources to the development team.
• Review and provide technical solutions to projects at different stages of the development life cycle.
• Utilize experience with Oracle or MS SQL Server DBMS, SQL Language, Unix/Linux, data warehousing, report generation, job scheduling, and monitoring tools.
• Engage in open source development and technical documentation using tools like Windows Office, Visio, and CVS.
• Participate in special projects as required.

Requirements

• Active in scope Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• MA/MS +8 years, OR BA/BS +10 years, OR AA/AS +12 years, OR HS Diploma +15 years of experience managing organizations similar in size, scope, and complexity.
• Must meet DoD 8140 DCWF 621 requirements (B.S. or CISSP-ISSAP).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (or higher) certification.
• One or more of the following certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCSA), RHCE, Oracle Linux Certification, LPIC-1 Linux Administrator (or higher), Linux+, GCUX: GIAC Certified Unix Security Administrator.

Nice-to-haves

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or higher certification.
• ITIL 4 certification.
