About the position

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) role involves responding to both emergency and non-emergency medical requests, providing high-quality care and treatment to patients. AEMTs are responsible for assessing patients, delivering emergency services, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for care. This position requires collaboration with other health and public safety personnel to maintain effective emergency response operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of patients and determine necessary care.
• Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Driver's License.
• National or State AEMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.
