About the position

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and service to Business General Aviation (BGA) and Airline customers. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, developing customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution. This position requires a strong background in avionics and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of contact for assigned BGA and Airline customers regarding technical issues.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance via phone, email, and on-site visits as necessary.
• Analyze technical issues and determine corrective action plans.
• Manage and document customer communications and case closures using SFDC.
• Provide frequent updates on customer issues to leadership and collaborate across internal functions.
• Build and maintain relationships with assigned customers through regular communication and visits.
• Support the Aerospace Technical Support (ATS) network by responding to customer cases.
• Participate in project teams related to product, technical, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience troubleshooting avionics and mechanical systems on various aircraft.
• 5+ years of customer-facing support experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong knowledge of Honeywell mechanical/electrical products and systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical fields.
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent.
• Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Business General Aviation and Airline experience.
