About The Position
The Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and expanding team of four gastroenterologists. This position is primarily focused on advanced gastroenterology and is located on the hospital campus, providing a unique opportunity to work within a leading hospital system recognized for its innovative treatments and technologies in digestive disorders. Houston Methodist has been ranked as the #1 hospital system in Texas for 13 consecutive years by US News and World Report, and the Baytown location has also received accolades as the #7 hospital in the metro Houston area. The role involves a standard schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities shared equally among the team. The gastroenterology department is well-equipped with four endoscopy rooms, and there are plans for further expansion to accommodate the busy patient base. The position offers strong support from primary care providers, ensuring a steady flow of patients and collaborative care.
