About the position

As an Industrial Engineer at Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin Company, you will be integral to enhancing manufacturing efficiency within the Dynamics Integrated Product Center. Your role will involve analyzing and optimizing operations through various methodologies, ensuring that production goals are met while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform manpower loading and capacity analysis to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct workflow and lead-time assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor labor performance and develop standard data for operational insights.
• Perform make vs. buy studies and justify capital equipment investments.
• Conduct learning curve analysis and estimates to optimize operations.
• Utilize data tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau to deliver labor cost metrics reports.
• Collaborate with Operations Leadership to implement plans for new technologies and process refinements.
• Optimize production layouts for scalability and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years with a related Master's degree.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices.
• Experience in manpower planning, capacity analysis, and process improvement.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL and Tableau.

Nice-to-haves

• Greenbelt Certification and experience leading process improvement activities.
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and Cost Performance Index (CPI).
• Experience in Aircraft Production, Maintenance, Modification, Repair, and Overhaul.
• Knowledge of Work Measurements, Time Standards, and Productivity management.
• Experience with Excel Macros and Alteryx.
• Familiarity with Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP).
