Responsibilities

• Owns platform overall technical accountability in terms of field quality, open issues, second source efforts and new feature assessment and validation.
• Leads multiple project teams of other electrical hardware engineers and extended engineering teams.
• Conducts feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses, and empirical testing on new and modified designs.
• Assists in architecture development and assessment.
• Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production.
• May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.

Requirements

• Experience in enterprise server design and development.
• Knowledge of schematics, layout, and server debug techniques.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and closed loop corrective actions.
• Ability to design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical/electronic parts and components.
• Experience in conducting feasibility studies and validation analyses.
