The Lynn advanced programs (AP) section is a brand-new organization with the mission of inventing the future of flight and advancing propulsion capability for the next generation of military applications. Lynn AP supports a wide range of engineering activity including design, analysis, and testing across new, derivative, and existing engines. The advanced lead engineer in fan structures mechanical design will be the fan case hardware owner, responsible for execution of mechanical design and development of the fan case cold structure as part of the fan module team. In this role, the advanced lead engineer will utilize engineering experience to solve problems and recommend technical solutions partnering with teammates and technical experts. This role is best suited for someone with a passion for structures design engineering and a strong desire to solve challenging technical problems while balancing project requirements. Collaboration with teammates and peers in adjacent organizations will be necessary to achieve project outcomes. The advanced lead engineer will also provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers on the team.
