About the position
Red Gold AMT's will learn and/or perform industrial maintenance related tasks as directed by Red Gold leadership. Assignments will reflect recent in-class learnings and will be in the following areas: Electrical - AC/DC, circuits, motors, motor controls, troubleshooting, etc.; Controls - PLCs, basic ladder logic, troubleshooting; Mechanical - tools, principles, bearings, shafts & alignments, gears, conveyance, lubrication; Fluid power & Pneumatic - hydraulics, principles & fundamentals, circuits, components; Metal Fabrication - welding, machining, metal working.
Responsibilities
- Learn and perform industrial maintenance tasks as directed by leadership
- Work on electrical systems including AC/DC circuits and motor controls
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems including PLCs and ladder logic
- Engage in mechanical tasks involving tools, bearings, shafts, and lubrication
- Handle fluid power and pneumatic systems including hydraulics and circuits
- Participate in metal fabrication tasks such as welding and machining
