About the position

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) position is responsible for providing high-quality, cost-effective patient care in both the Atlantic City Bridge Clinic and the Comprehensive Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Hammonton. The role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing resources efficiently, and collaborating with physician leaders and staff to improve clinical outcomes. The APN participates in quality improvement efforts and contributes to educational programs, ensuring that patient care meets established objectives and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care in the Atlantic City Bridge Clinic and Comprehensive Community Behavioral Health Clinic.
• Establish preventive measures, diagnose, and treat illnesses and disorders in accordance with medical practice and joint protocols.
• Manage and utilize resources optimally to ensure cost-effective patient care delivery.
• Collaborate with physician leaders, administration, and staff to improve clinical outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts organization-wide and contribute to divisional and departmental committees.
• Maintain current technical knowledge and seek educational opportunities to enhance clinical practice and competency.
• Contribute to the organization's educational programs and teaching activities.
• Participate in the peer review process to enhance clinical practice.

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school or as grandfathered by NJ Law required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey and certified by the State Board of Nursing.
• Certification within area of specialty required and granted privileges from Atlantic City Medical Center medical staff.
• NRNNP, C or RNCNS, C registry unencumbered.
• ACLS required in Heart Failure Program; BLS required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in field of specialty as RN in State of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire.
