About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Employee Health Services at Lilly is responsible for delivering direct patient care to employees, managing on-site emergencies, work-related injuries, and chronic disease management. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
  • At least 5 years of applicable experience in a relevant setting.
  • Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse, or Physician Assistant.
  • Current State of Indiana license as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant with prescriptive privileges.
  • CPR for Health Care Provider certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification prior to assignment start date.

Nice To Haves

  • NIOSH Spirometry Certification
  • CAOHC Hearing Conservationist certification
  • Experience in occupational medicine and/or primary care medicine.
  • Prior experience using electronic health records.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care for on-site emergencies, work-related injuries, and chronic disease management.
  • Collaborate with Employee Health Services physician leadership to implement health and wellbeing services.
  • Maintain compliance with Lilly's policies and procedures.
  • Liaison with Health, Safety, and Environmental professionals to manage workplace hazards.
  • Assist management with quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Educate employees on health behaviors and self-care skills.
  • Provide follow-up care for injuries and illnesses.
  • Support annual preventive screenings and health surveillance examinations.
  • Respond to on-site emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Coordinate with corporate health services for immunizations and flu shots.
