About the position

UNC Endocrinology at Chatham Park is seeking an experienced Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dedicated team. Our mission at UNC Physicians Network is to treat our patients like family, ensuring the highest quality of care and treatment. The ideal candidate will embody this philosophy and contribute to our specialized focus areas, which include thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and various thyroid disorders, as well as adrenal, pituitary, and endocrine cancers. Additionally, the APP will manage conditions such as Type-2 diabetes and metabolic bone disease, and will be involved in performing neck ultrasounds and biopsies, including those on thyroid masses and lymph nodes in the neck. Clinical Densitometry (CCD) and management of osteoporosis are also key components of this role. The position requires the APP to split their hours between our Siler City and Pittsboro locations, providing flexibility and a diverse working environment. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At UNCPN, we prioritize patient-centered practices, with our physicians trained to assist in the detection, treatment, and prevention of illnesses. Our goal is to help patients achieve optimum well-being through education, anticipatory guidance, and strategic medical interventions. We are committed to fostering a long and healthy relationship with our patients and their families. Joining our team means becoming part of an inclusive organization with over 40,000 diverse employees, all dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve.
