About the position
As an Advanced Provider in Emergency Medicine at Vituity, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of care in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Center.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients in emergency situations.
- Participate in training programs for nursing students and medical residents.
- Engage in community outreach and health education initiatives.
Requirements
- Current national certification as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
- DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications preferred.
- Experience in Emergency Department or Urgent Care settings is preferred.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- New graduates with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with trauma care and critical care management.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
