About the position

Kforce's client is seeking an Advanced/Senior/Lead React Python SQL Developer in Tampa, Florida. This role involves both coding and coaching responsibilities, ensuring that the software engineering team meets their deliverables while maintaining high code quality standards. The position requires active participation in Agile processes and collaboration with team members to facilitate project success.

Responsibilities

• Be a 'player/coach' that will contribute code and coach other developers on the team
• Ensure team of software engineers deliverables are completed on time and escalate any potential issues
• Provides guidance and coaching to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities
• Review, debug, and QA development team's code as necessary
• Validate that acceptance criteria is met before Jira cards are closed
• Validate Sonar code coverage meet 70% minimum and no new code smells are introduced
• Participate in Agile activities including daily scrum, sprint planning, demo and retro
• Partner with Scrum Master/BA and Lead Developer to create Jira cards for upcoming sprints and assist with card assignments
