About the position

As an Advanced Senior Software Developer and Architect at Solventum, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cloud-based enterprise software solutions that enhance healthcare delivery. This position involves collaborating with diverse teams to implement innovative software solutions, utilizing modern technologies to improve quality and efficiency, and supporting customers in achieving their goals through effective software services.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of world-class cloud-based enterprise software solutions.
• Work on the team's software development efforts and interface with other teams to create and implement software solutions.
• Utilize pipeline technologies to deploy software globally.
• Create and code new approaches to increase quality, efficiency, and resilience in existing and new software applications.
• Support customers in achieving their goals using our software services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university AND 5 years of Java/J2EE development OR High School Diploma/GED AND 9 years of Java/J2EE development.
• Experience in architecture and design of enterprise-level, high-volume, hosted applications in a cloud environment.
• Development and support experience with enterprise applications hosted in a cloud environment.
• Experience with using SQL and NoSQL databases in design, development, and implementation.
• Experience using Kubernetes for deploying applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with common HL7 and X12 based transactions.
• Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, JIRA, and Git.
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and the AWS cloud environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to lead and provide guidance to others.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and information on both user and technical levels.
