About the position

As an Advanced Senior Software Developer and Architect at Solventum, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing cloud-based enterprise software solutions that enhance healthcare services. This position involves collaborating with diverse teams to create innovative software applications, utilizing modern technologies to improve quality and efficiency, and supporting customers in achieving their goals through effective software services.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of world class cloud-based enterprise software solutions
• Work on the team's software development efforts and interface with other teams to create and implement software solutions
• Utilize pipeline technologies to deploy software throughout the world
• Create and code new approaches to increase quality, efficiency, and resilience in existing and new software applications
• Support customers to achieve their goals using our software services

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university AND 5 years of Java/J2EE development OR High School Diploma/GED AND 9 years of Java/J2EE development
• Experience in architecture and design of enterprise level, high volume, hosted applications in a cloud environment
• Development and support experience with enterprise applications hosted in a cloud environment
• Experience with using SQL and NoSQL databases in design, development, and implementation
• Experience using Kubernetes for deploying applications

Nice-to-haves

• Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with common HL7 and X12 based transactions
• Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, JIRA, and Git
• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes and the AWS cloud environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to lead and provide guidance to others
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and information on both user and technical level
