About the position

As an Advanced Software Test Engineer at Honeywell's Smart Energy Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products through rigorous testing and analysis. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. You will work on developing, deploying, and maintaining electronics manufacturing test systems for Honeywell's Smart Metering products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools using SQL Server, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.
• Oversee testing activities at contract manufacturing sites, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Deploy and validate test equipment at different contract manufacturers in the USA, Mexico, or India.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced test or software development or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation or a related industry.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.
• Knowledge of Flash JTAG testing methodologies.
• Experience with firmware download and flashing microprocessors.
• Experience with Database & Server management.
• Experience maintaining Computers and Servers.
