About the position

The Advanced Systems Engineer will be part of a cross-functional team focused on the Auxiliary Systems Tech Refresh project. This role involves developing and configuring various computer systems, including operating systems, hypervisors, and network switches, within an Agile development framework. The position emphasizes collaboration, technical leadership, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure computer systems for Auxiliary Systems Tech Refresh.
• Finalize configuration of operating systems, hypervisors, and network switches.
• Participate in Agile development life cycle activities.
• Lead the systems development life cycle with a focus on requirements management and system modeling tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in Cisco Switch Configuration.
• Experience with VMWare and HBSS Implementation.
• Familiarity with configuration management and GitLab Pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DoD HBSS Implementation (Microsoft Power STIG, McAfee for Red Hat, and Windows Defender).
• Knowledge of Red Hat and Windows Server 2022.
• Experience with VMWare vSphere and VMWare ESXi.
