About the position

As an Electrical Engineer at Glumac, you will play a crucial role in designing electrical power systems for various building types, including Advanced Technology facilities, Manufacturing/Industrial spaces, R&D labs, and Data Centers. You will serve as the Engineer of Record, ensuring designs meet and exceed client expectations while adhering to code requirements. Your responsibilities will include developing power distribution, lighting, and control systems, conducting load calculations, and managing projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical power systems for diverse buildings including Advanced Technology facilities and Data Centers.
  • Serve as the Engineer of Record, ensuring compliance with codes and client expectations.
  • Develop power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Conduct system layouts and perform load calculations.
  • Select equipment with a focus on medium-voltage systems.
  • Lead construction administration and manage project budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including code officials, contractors, and architects.
  • Guide project teams and assist in crafting project scopes for RFPs.
  • Engage in industry-related activities to expand professional network.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Current Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, SKM Powertools, and MS Office.
  • Deep understanding of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
  • Proven track record of fostering client relationships leading to repeat business.
  • Experience in managing key client accounts.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior engineers.
