About the position

The Advancement Assistant-Database Manager is a part-time role at Incarnate Word Academy, responsible for managing the Raiser's Edge NXT database and supporting the Office of Advancement. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining donor relations, generating financial reports, and providing administrative support, all while adhering to the school's mission of empowering young women of faith.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain IWA's Raiser's Edge NXT database with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Assist with donor relations to build connections between IWA and its constituents.
  • Generate accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Process all gifts and prepare acknowledgement letters and other correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative and event support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a liberal arts or business field preferred.
  • Related work experience in database management, specifically Raiser's Edge NXT.
  • Proven ability to multitask with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external clients.
  • Strong proficiency in Google suite, Microsoft Office, and donor databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to create and follow through with an annual plan.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with donor databases, preferably Raiser's Edge NXT.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for IWA's mission.
